Scarame.com is a small book and software studio.

While my books were created long before the AI boom, the software and WordPress plugins were developed entirely with the support of AI – more precisely, with ChatGPT. Some of the graphics were created using applications from the Higgsfield portfolio.

There is certainly a lot to debate about the enormous and rapid development of AI systems. For many people, this boom is probably more of a curse than a blessing.
The problems are not limited to professional life or to AI as a product itself. The rapidly increasing demand for hardware and the worldwide expansion of data centers required for these complex computing processes also have far-reaching consequences.
At present, however, everyone can only answer the moral and ethical questions surrounding this development for themselves.
I see AI first and foremost as a technological development of our time. You may consider technological developments good or bad, but they cannot be stopped. Once the genie is out of the bottle, it cannot simply be put back in.
What we can and should do, however, is reflect on how we deal with advanced technologies and try to guide their development and use in a meaningful direction.
I do not want to turn this into a philosophical discussion about the pros and cons of AI systems.
Instead, I would like to give you a small insight into what I used to build and design Scarame – and how the original desire to present my books more professionally gradually developed into a small software range of its own.
So far, I used AI in many different ways – especially ChatGPT for research, proofreading and translation, as well as for smaller scripts. And eventually for developing my first software application – the Giveaway Manager.
I use Gemini, Sora, Kling and Higgsfield for images and video, and Suno for music.
Software wasn't actually what drove me at first.

Above all, I wanted to present my books and applications such as my Giveaway Manager or my Blender plugin more professionally. The fact that this eventually resulted in a small range of my own WordPress plugins has one very simple reason:
I was not willing to take out yet another subscription for every single function.
So I followed one simple idea:

If you don't want to pay for it – make it yourself!

For many people, working with AI may at first seem to involve hardly any personal effort. AI makes work easier, takes over difficult programming tasks and enables people without programming skills to develop their own applications in the first place.
At its core, that also applies to me.
The applications and plugins I offer here today could not have been developed by me alone, in this form and at this level, without AI.
But that does not mean anything was simply handed to me.
The ideas came from me. I defined features, identified problems, rejected solutions, made decisions, tested the results and guided the development – essentially like a project manager.
The AI “only” did the work. It tried to implement what I asked it to do.
And that is exactly where I see its greatest strength:

It is a tool.

A great tool that allows you to discuss ideas, develop solutions and create things that were previously beyond your own capabilities.
Sometimes it understands what you want with astonishing foresight. And sometimes it fails to understand the simplest things.
Scarame is a WordPress-based online shop built with the tools listed under “Setup.”

Some of them come from established third-party providers. Others are my own products, created directly from the needs that arose while building this shop.
My setup is intended to give you an idea of how you can build your own online shop for digital products.
My Infinity Use model – pay once and use it permanently – is intended to make getting started easier, so you do not have to spend too much of your valuable time on the technical setup.
Instead, use that time for what really matters:

for creating and developing your own digital content – with AI, if it can help you along the way.

Have fun developing and selling.
